Canals and Rivers

There is an uncounted canal in the Charsamaiya union. Tutulia branch flows across the western part of the whole union. It runs from the south of the Charsamaiya union to the launchghat on the north. There are about 8 hundred fishermen families here. All the fish are available in the river Hilsa, Shail, Shing, Gajal, Rui, Mrigel, Katal, Koi, Tengra, Poya, Bata Boal, Chital, Magura, Pangas, Irr, Kathal, Baing etc.

Tutulia branch has been built on both sides of the industrial factory. Charsamaiya union is becoming a new form because of the advantage of river routes. The unemployed youths are working in the new industries of the river.
